Trading robots can bring in HUGE profits, only if its a good one. That is the secret, finding a robot that actually has proven success.

For those of you who say there are no good trading robots (also more professionally known as expert advisors) out there, check out the Automated Trading Championship

The 2008 champion just started but you can already see how well some our doing. In the 2007 championship the winner made $10,000 turn into over $130,000 in just three months. Now tell me that trading robots don’t work…..

But More than 95% of all robots are worthless. Whoever is selling it claims that they have huge success, just to get you to buy it. If you are curious to which are legit, an easy way to see is to check and see if the website your buying it from has any contact information, such as tech support or at least just an email address. But don’t base your purchase on this factor alone.

If your looking for an inexpensive start in automated trading, the link I listed below sells a package that comes with a few different trading robots. Its what I have been using for the past few months now and I have made some really good profits. sorry to brag =)

Yes they are reliable if the programmer knows what he is doing.
otherwise they are garbage.
i have written one that works wonderfully.

I wouldn’t pay for a Expert Advisor because there are so many that work great for free. You can find them right from your Metatrader 4 program and download them. You can backtest them also in the strategy tester and also live test them on a demo account. Expert Advisors DO work as long as they are set right. Not all of them work though so that’s why they will need tested first. I would not use one that doesnt use stop loss and take profit levels though. This is simply because if your internet connection is interrupted or computer crashes your trades would be left open until either your account is wiped out or you get home from work, store, etc…. and manually close the trades out. if the EA sets the levels itself every trade it wont hurt your account.

Agree with the top few answers but there is some gold out there – if you know where to look.

Many of the so-called Auto Robots are simply dressed up scripts which alert you to indicators when they appear. They really are terribly oversold.

Yeah, what? I agree with your point and it reminds me of a thought I had about people selling their winning Forex system for like $10, $20, why would they care about $10 or $20? If they had such a great winning system they would be making millions.

The key to making money in forex is study, understanding technical and fundamental anlysis, hard work and a discplined plan. If you don’t have these then you should pay a broker who does and will help you make profit. Don’t trust some software that will probably lose you money and is probably a scam.

well, when you’ve just lost $10,000 are you really going to want to try to get back the $9.95 that’s responsible for losing you the other $10,000?

if someone had written a successful arbitrage system, do you really think they would just give it to you for $10? no. they would sell it to a black box hedge fund for a few hundred million dollars.

people who get involved with scams like this deserve to lose their money, in my opinion.
